Conditions For Non- Canamac Disc Jockyes

 

  • Disc Jockeys must supply all of their own equipment, including extension cords. A 100 foot cord is required for additional amperage. Canamac Cruises will supply a table for DJ’s use during the cruise.


  • Disc Jockeys may not use any equipment belonging to Canamac Cruises or its DJ’s.


  • Disc Jockeys are responsible for controlling volume. Sound must not exceed 85 decibels at 15 metres as per Toronto noise by-laws.


  • Disc Jockeys must reduce volume in residential areas, while at dock and on approach to dock, and must follow directions of the Captain and / or Supervisor in regards to volume levels. Failure to follow direction may result in power to sound system being shut down for remainder of cruise.


  • Disc Jockeys and charterer are responsible for attending court and payments of any fines or tickets issued to the ship, if the noise by-laws are broken.


  • All speakers and equipment must be secured prior to cruise. Speakers need to be tied down for safety.
